I had the BEST time being part of this event hosted by Tiffany Tocco! To be surrounded by so many beautiful, like minded ladies was a dream for me. I’m all about fashion and beauty trends so getting to meet and chat with these girls was so fun. Not to mention, my camera LOVED them! They were all dressed to the nines and looked amazing! It was so much fun walking around grabbing candids but I also offered headshots for any of the girls that wanted one! Tiffany was such a great host, she had the tables decorated in hearts and roses from Maison Farola, swag bags with beautiful Maria Lamia Boutique jewelry (and several other cute goodies!) and she even had Stunning Shots Photo Booth there! And the food, oh my gosh you guys if you haven’t checked out Cork and Gabel in Detroit yet you’re missing out! It was SO good. She also had an amazing dessert bar with the cutest cookies from Refined Sugar.

In Tiffany’s own words…

“After being nominated for the Top 100 Detroit Female Bloggers in November, Femology hosted a brunch and photo shoot for us to celebrate and meet other bloggers. I went to the event not knowing a single girl that was going to be in attendance. I was really nervous and anxious about going (what if no one talks to me, what if I’m sitting by myself, etc. etc.) When I pulled up in the parking lot I was the first one there. I thought about when would be an appropriate time to go in and sat in my car for sometime. As I finally got the courage to step out of my car, the cutest girl pulled up next to me rocking her power suit. She got out and we immediately looked at each other and knew we were heading to the same place. Sarah Jude and I walked in together and were completely inseparable. We laughed, we made some incredible friendships with other bloggers and we made plans for future hangouts!

After this event I was really craving the connection and community that an event like that brought into my life. I was hoping that more events would be planned in the coming months, but when I wasn’t seeing anything I told myself, if I want something to happen I needed to take it into my own hands and just make it happen! I am definitely not an event planner by day, but I knew that I wanted to create the type of experience I had for someone else. Allowing these women to step out of their comfort zone and come together to meet like minded women, curate connections and a sense of community and just to celebrate each other! I knew Galentine’s day would be the perfect opportunity to execute my idea! This event meant so much more than just having brunch, it meant opening doors and creating opportunities not only for myself, but for all of these other women and at the end of the day coming out with a stronger sense of self confidence, new friendships and a community of women that will be there to cheer you on and support you.”

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy the photos!
